Health Care

My wife's high school history teacher is selling his text books to pay for his cancer treatment. We, the people, run this country. But we have jobs to do and kids to raise, which leaves us little time to govern. So we elect others to govern in our stead. By paying taxes, we give them the money to carry out our will. With our money they build roads, pay teachers, and wage war. If our elected officials do not use the time and money we give them to do our will, then we elect someone else. Right now our money is being used to hurt people. With the excuse of keeping ourselves safe, we attacked another country which had never attacked us. Our money bought the bombs that blew up people who had never bombed us. If we can afford to hurt people we can afford to help people. Our tax money builds roads. Roads are important. I use a road to go to work, school, and to visit my family. Our money built those roads. Our money pays those five workers who stand around in orange vests watc...

President Putin

America does not need a president like Putin. We do not need leader who wields massive power and influence, and makes all of the decisions for us. We need a leader who inspires us to action. We, the people, constitute the government of this country. Though we have had great leaders in the past, it is the accumulative effect of 300,000,000 people doing the right thing that makes this country great. Obama talks of hope. He is criticized, because you can't legislate hope. You can't lobby for it. You can't bribe a politician for it. You can't reform it. You can't politicize it at all. Obama is not a politician. Obama is a leader.
