Adam Smith for Obama

Adam Smith, who fathered capitalism in his book “The Wealth of Nations” (1776)wrote:
"It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."

McCain has smeared Obama, repeating "Spreading the wealth around," and "Socialism" in the same breath to scare us. Senator McCain "Just doesn't understand" capitalism very well.

    We are all forced to pay. Taxes are not optional (though I think they should be). We can choose what we spend them on. And we choose by who we vote for.

    It's fabulous that anonymous has an opinion; why don't you just say who you are? It's easier to have a respectful, balanced discussion with someone when you know where they're coming from.
