New Title Quote: Robin Meyers
"One of the most important psychological prerequisites for war is that the enemy be made to seem less than human. One of the most important prerequisites for religious faith is that every single human being be seen as fully human—precious, sacred, a child of God. This makes war and faith incompatible at the most basic level, of course, but it makes an unnecessary war into a cardinal sin." — Robin Meyers
I wrote about dehumanizing before. It reminds me of Hotel Rwanda, when the Hutu called the Tutsi "cockroaches."

While that's how things should be. In practice it generally reads,"One of the most important prerequisites for religious faith is that every single human being that shares the same religious beliefs as you be seen as fully human" I've talked to plenty of people that think we're all children of God, except the Jews, Hindus, Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims etc. Religion can be the biggest dehumanizer of all.
