Ethanol is Garbage, Garbage is Ethanol
The following is only pertinent to millionaire entrepreneurs:
Italy just paid Germany to dispose of a few stinking tons of garbage. Let me say that again in different words: Italy paid Germany money, and then gave them a product. It's like Costco paying you to take their groceries.
Garbage is usually worthless, but ethanol can be extracted from the organic waste.
People will pay you to take their ethanol resources. There must be some incentive that could even prompt them to separate their organic garbage from their inorganic, which would cut costs on ethanol extraction; perhaps a lower fee for garbage collection. High gas costs and an emerging ethanol market make this proposal timely.
Free garbage. Sweet.
p.s. My sixteen year old brother-in-law has informed me that garbage dumps, once filled to capacity, can be paved over, covered by grass, and turned into a park or golf course. Then a tap can be inserted into the cement-sealed garbage pile, and natural gas can be siphoned from it. So I guess it's okay to throw everything away.
