As God Once Was, We Are Now

A sci-fi writer wrote that sci-fi should approach the questions of life after death, and why we are here. In other words, sci-fi is modern man's socially acceptable approach to religion and philosophy.

Another sci-fi writer, who claimed that advanced alien species had quarantined the Earth, wrote: "Why would a Great Teacher, Leader, & Scientist give a murderer a God-Like technology?" This fits the Mormons' heretical view that God will give man all of his power and dominion. That's why He put us here on earth, to test what we would do with a little power. For what a man does with a little, he will do with much.

    So, you really shouldn't tease me for watching Star Trek all those years; I'm just religious.

    In a way, you're agreeing that the earth has been quarantined by an extra-terrestrial (God), to see what we would do. Cool.
