The Founders were unAmerican

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann called Obama unAmerican. He's also been slandered with the 'terrorist' label.

Sorry folks, terrorists founded this country.
Our founding fathers committed treason against their government to establish this free country. In the ensuing war, they used guerrilla, or 'terrorist', tactics to ward off an insurmountably larger army.

And the constitution they wrote left the government weak enough, and the people free enough, so that if the government ever degraded to tyranny, the people would be able to overthrow it.

Governments all tend toward tyranny, because the simplest way to govern is to put all power into the hands of one man. No laws, committees, or votes slow down the decision-making process.

The Founders knew this. They had read of Rome, that great republic which decayed to tyranny. And they lived under one, in the person of King George III.

Power-hungry leaders will leech more power by convincing the people that quicker decisions are necessary. The most common way to spread panic is through war. The recent economic crisis has also turned into a power grab, made possible by the creation of a sense of panic. By giving more power to the central government, we pave the way for tyranny.

It is our duty, as citizens, to defend the constitution, and to uphold our government insofar as they respect that great document, and to overthrow them if they do not. The best way to overthrow a tyrant is with the vote.

Vote Nov. 4th. Early voting is possible in most states.
