Undecided

People who say, "I don't like either candidate." mean that McCain turns them off, and Obama is a Democrat, and don't democrats marry gay people and kill babies?

So they are against McCain because of who he is, and against Obama because of his party.

At least in Utah.

Does it make you angry to be lumped into a category like this? Not as angry as it makes me to think you'll vote for Palin the Bush-clone to avoid "the lesser of two evils."

I actually kind of like McCain. But he has run a campaign of fear and hate. Our current government uses those same tactics. They use fear because a populace that is afraid of an external enemy will unite against their own best interests.

Obama inspires hope and uses reason. Because he thinks we Americans are smart, and are able to base decisions on more than gut feelings.

Terrorists use fear to get people to do what they want. Under this definition, Bush, McCain, and Palin are terrorists.

We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Fear ruins our judgment. No one can bring us down but us.

  1. I would have to say that there is more to being president than inspiring your poplation. Policies are what matter. Obama is as far left as they come.

  2. Obama actually isn't "as far left as they come." He's the 44th most liberal senator, or the 56th most conservative, currently serving. That's near the center.

Check your facts. That's just more scare talk.

Obama will have a mixed cabinet, like Lincoln did.

And policies do matter. For example:

Human rights. Fair opportunity. Being a free Republic instead of a domineering empire. Peaceful negotiations instead of fearful warmongering.

That's the America I love. Not America the tyrant, America the beacon of hope and home of liberty.

  3. Not according to the National Journal.

    2007 - 1st
    2006 - 10th
    2005 - 16th

That's not a very refreshing trend.

As far as Obama and human rights...have you listened to him talk about abortion?

  4. Yes. Obama's views on abortion are in line with the teachings of the Mormon church.
