  1. How did so many Mormons miss the point of the Book of Mormon? Moroni hated fighting; this makes it sound like he just took anybody out who pissed him off.

    And how would morals not mean squat anymore if we were endangered? The world will always have danger; that was the point of the whole go-live-on-Earth plan. We should not seek to eliminate danger; we should live morally in the midst of it. Perhaps by being moral, thoughtful, and truly Christlike people, we may even calm anti-American sentiment.

    But even if not, we shouldn't toss morals out the window just to feel safe.
