Obama's not black, he's see-through.

Obama has a goal to be our most accessible president. To accomplish this:

He had an open house on his inauguration that anyone could come to.

He is making weekly addresses to the nation.

His new website, whitehouse.gov, has a way to send a message to the White House.

And easy access to his appointees and the executive orders he has made.

In the spirit of openness and honesty, he signed his first executive order to make available presidential records that the previous administration had made secret.

His other executive orders:

His second executive order is to limit corruption between lobbyists and the executive branch.

His third E.O. shut down Guantanamo Bay. (It will take 1 year)

Notable sentence: "The individuals currently detained at Guantánamo have the constitutional privilege of the writ of habeas corpus."

(I argued earlier that many of the rights guaranteed by the constitution are given by God. They belong to all people, not just Americans.)

His fourth E.O. created a committee to figure out what to do with people we capture and detain.

His fifth E.O. declared torture an inexcusable means of interrogation. (Torture is not only immoral, but ineffective. There are better ways to get information. Here's a book on the subject.)

I will continue to post a short summary of executive orders to keep track of what he does in office.
