Ron Paul supporter detained and harrassed at airport for having too much cash
They probably got suspicious because:
1. He claimed to be a Ron Paul supporter (Someone supports Ron Paul?).
2. He claimed the 4,700 bucks he had was from selling stickers and t-shirts at a Ron Paul event (There are other Ron Paul supporters?).
We should start harassing everyone who has lots of money. It would provide a disincentive against greed.
Someone asked good questions: "Exactly what security threat does cash pose to an airplane? Are suicide bombers wont to carry a lot of liquid capital in case they flub it and need to bribe their way out?"
