Americans are the freest people on the earth who cannot travel to Cuba. That's a working title, because it's not 100% accurate. The laws are a bit iffy: Kennedy imposed travel restrictions on February 8 , 1963 . . . Most people who want to take over the world have a top-down perspective, wherein the leader of one country uses an army of peons to attack the other country's army of peons. Eventually one side loses so many peons that public unrest and other pressures cause one leader to surrender. The war ends. Treaties are signed, making the violent seizing of land and property legal. That's one way. The other way, is to make our country so great, that everyone else in the world wants to come here. Then we abolish our immigration laws, and allow anyone who wants to, to come here and gain citizenship. Soon everyone will be in America, and they'll all be U.S. citizens. We'll push out the borders as far as we need to accommodate. Voila, world conquered.
