The following is not appropriate:

I wrote a paper this semester about abortion. I think it is sad.

I also think that Republicans use it to manipulate voters, and that doing so is unconstitutional.

I wrote a paper on it. If anyone wants to read it, give me your email, and I'll send it your way.

This poem came to me while I wrote that paper. Take caution: my wife found it disturbing.


Aborted Baby Jesus

she wandered away
no room in the inn
no room with her family
no room here for Him

joseph had left her
could not take the stress
took a job with his father
and as father, knows best

she wandered and ran
away from her self
and begged a physician
to offer her help

then over a toilet
a slight tear, legs faltered
before she could cry
out came blood and water

legs uncrossed
she wept to the night
he died for her sins
he died for our sins
he died for our sins
