The "Other" Race Defined

One woman refused to vote Obama because he belonged to the "other" race. I thought she meant black. Turns out:

"He's neither-nor. He's other. It's in the Bible. Come as one. Don't create other breeds." -Ricky Thompson, a voter in Alabama describing Obama.

Wow. God is so racist.

    Oh, my goodness. The story in the link to Ricky Thompson's comments blew me away. That last line of the story? That guy finally found out that his bi-racial grandchildren were people too? I wonder how long it took him to figure that one out.

    Why can't we all just be nice to one another?

One old black man defeats the KKK with kindness and humor. They burned down his church, burned a cross in his yard, and mercilessly taunted him. He always responded in kindness, and turned their hearts to him. We should use this as a blueprint to respond to those who hate us.
